How to change data type in Tableau

 Change data type in tableau like this


  • By dragging the table when you are connected to a data source in Tableau,
    you will get to see the table's data in a tabular form.
  • Where the header of the data and the data type for that column will appear on the top left side.
  • You can place the data column according to the data type here.
And if the data is coming from some other data source (DB)  then we can maintain it through tableau calculation.
